The G44 features the latest enhancements from the 5th generation of Glock pistols, such as an ambidextrous slide stop lever and reversible magazine catch, a Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB) for increased accuracy and performance, adjustable rear straps and adjustable rear sights. The G44 also features a phantom hole load chamber indicator and comes standard with two 10 round load assist magazines.

Best Handguns, Tested And Reviewed
In the pistol category, Glock once again dominated three of the top 10 best-selling handguns last year, including the latest models of the Glock G43 and the still-working Glock G17; The aforementioned Sig Sauer P365, Springfield Armory Hellcat, Taurus G2, Ruger LCP II, Sig Sauer P320, Springfield Armory 1911 and Smith & Wesson M&P 380 Shield AZ round out the class.
Along with revolvers, Retro Heritage Arms was king of the Rough Rider hill – the Rough Riders were infamous for their charge on San Juan Hill during the Spanish American War. Six of the top ten semi-autos are black guns and these include the Smith & Wesson M&P Sport II, Anderson Manufacturing AM-15, Ruger AR-556, Colt M4 Carbine taking positions two through five, while the Springfield Armory St. and Smith & Wesson M&P14-22 are eight and ninth, respectively. . The category saw the Ruger PC Carbine in sixth place and the Springfield Armory M1A, a semi-automatic version of the iconic M14, taking seventh place. Kel-Tec's Sub2000 rounds out the list.
Glock 43 Review
The Ruger American Rifle is the best-selling bolt-action rifle in 2021, while other entries include the Tikka T3X, Savage Arms 10/110, Ruger Precision Rifle, and Ruger Precision Rimfire. Clearly, Ruger knows its market and has found a niche that it now dominates.
Henry Repeating Arms basically dominated the Lever Action Rifles category last year with eight of the top ten guns, including the top four: Henry Repeating Arms Big Boy, Lever, X Model and New Original. Only the Rossi R92 and the Winchester 1873 managed to sneak into the top ten.
However, the Rossi Gallery took first place for shotguns. Other firearms in this category included the Henry Repeating Arms Pump, Remington 7600, Troy Industries PAR, Remington 7600 Synthetic, Remington 572, Winchester 61, Taurus C45 Thunderbolt, Winchester 1906, and Remington 7615 Police.
2021 saw the second highest number of gun sales at 18 million, up from around 23 million in 2020, although the full number of these guns will not be supplied. Still, there are a lot of guys out there like Glocks, Rugers, and Henrys. There are certainly worse ways to spend money.

But the military disagreed, and why is important. First, Glock may have made a mistake by not creating a new model like some other trial participants. Second, the Glock 19X is not really a modular gun. Third, it has no manual safety and you have to pull the trigger before disassembling it. The military must have thought of hundreds of thousands of pistols for untrained personnel like special operations forces. Thus, any safety feature should have been considered to reduce the risk of accidental discharge.
